This series of teaware is based on a white shino glaze. Just as when dirty water is left to settle, the pure clean water will separate from the turbid sediment. When we sit to make tea we settle our mind and let our negative thoughts dissipate. The white shino glaze represents the pure heart we use while making tea. The simplicity of the forms in this series reflect the open mind we bring to the tea table.
